Tiered Conditional Scanner
« on: April 28, 2020, 11:49:33 am »
I'm trying to get a scanner to do a multi-condition type thing.  I want it to be highly modifiable, but as an example: if a stock makes a new high of day, nothing happens, but the first time it makes a new 5 minute low AFTER making a new high of day, an alert result pops up.  I talked to TI support and they basically said there's no way to do this automatically.  Is there any kind of roundabout way I could accomplish this?  I'm looking into using symbol lists to effectively link two separate alert windows together, but running into two problems.  A. there doesn't seem to be a way to get symbols to add to a list based on results from an alert window, and B. Custom symbol lists don't seem to be showing up on the symbol lists tab in the alert configuration.  Does anyone know of a way to fix those issues?  Or maybe another way that I might accomplish what I'm trying to do?
