2 Beginner questions on Trade Ideas desktop
« on: May 11, 2018, 03:55:27 am »
Hi all,

Started with Trade Ideas Desktop today and liking it so far, after exploring the system a bit there are 2 things that I can't figure out.
1. Each strategy/alert-window is a separate window. Is it possible to link all windows together so that if I move or minimize 1 alert/list-window they all move? As if it's one large window.
2. I'm looking at the alerts for candle stick patterns, and I see the option to enter a percentage of pattern match, but is there a way to get an alert after 2 candlesticks that match? For instance an alert after 2 consecutive hammers?

Also, not a question more of a feature suggestion, I'd like to store my layouts and window config's in another folder than TI's default (I want to store it in my Google Drive), but this seems not possible...suggestion?

Thank you!

C

Hi,

1. You can make a Multi window that is multiple alerts in one window.

You can save and load layouts from wherever you like, when you load the layout just tell TI Pro where it is.

You might want to check out TI University:

Also there's a bunch of videos and playlists on our YouTube channel that can help you get more familiar with the software:
