Up, down then up again
« on: July 15, 2017, 11:33:30 am »
Hi all,

Is there a way to configure TI to do the following:

Only notify me when a stock goes up 10%, drops down 5% then goes back up 2%? Is that possible? Sort of like an Up, down, up but with higher lows.

Thanks!

You can find the stocks that go up 10% and pull back but cannot configure it to find the last part (back up 2%)

I'm also interested in something similar. I find that breakout scans are too late and the closest scan to what you're looking for is a consolidation.

It also sounds like a triangle top. Here is the pattern in TI: https://www.trade-ideas.com/Help.html#GTTOP
