Has anyone used either platform to trade U.S stocks:  Real Tick or Sterling?
any comments about what anyone thinks of them?

Also do people feel you need Level II to trade U.S stocks

thanks

I have not used either but I am looking for a platform to start using! Has anyone tried these two and could mention the pros and cons of either?

I like Mt4 for trading. brokers offer many platforms as mobile trading or web based platform. It is up to a trader where he wants to work . having many options of brokers I decide to work with FXCM people say they are very good but I am not fully satisfied with them.

None of them. I prefer trading with FreshForex. They have really great trading conditions: fast withdrawal, low spreads, quick support.

I think Sterling is a very good platform to trade US stocks, it is industry leader. Regarding Level II, it is crucial for day trading.

i prefer to trade with MetaTrader platform. Whether it's MT4 or MT5, these platforms has many indicators that can help me with any kinds of technical analysis and also has multiple time frames so that I can zoom out to see price chart history. But make sure your broker's servers are reliable with any kind of trade you want to do (e.g scalping, hedging, averaging, etc.). For now, I trade with MT4 in FreshForex. This company also provides educational material which is perfect for newbies.
